Amongst the guests to attend in person were Lim Yew Kuan (former Principal of NAFA, Lim Hak Tai’s son), Peter Tchang (Tchang Ju Chi’s son), and several Singapore prominent artists such as Cheong Soo Pieng, Seah Kim Joo, Chua Mia Tee, and Lim Mu Hue. The Singapore Art Society spent years of detailed preparation curating this exhibition. Due to space constraints, only around 80 artworks were on display, featuring calligraphy, Chinese & Western paintings, and watercolour, most of them owned by Lim Yew Kuan and Peter Tchang, the rest were collections from Dr. Tan Tsze Chor (Singapore art collector and calligrapher), Ho Kok Hoe (Singapore pioneer artist and architect), Huang Pao Fang (Singapore artist), Tan Tee Chie (Singapore seal carving artist and art critic), Lucien Wang (NAFA alumni, renowned piano teacher) and Zheng Guang Han (Singapore Classical Chinese poet). The second article listed collection owners: Runme Shaw (founder of the Shaw Organization of Singapore), Zheng Bin Xie, Yong Cheng Wah (YMS son) and Chen Jen Hao (former president of the Society of Chinese Artists)
